Back to the Future

Last week we moved back into our old apartment, so we get to spend our last few weeks in Milwaukee living with and spending time with family, which is great!

Even in this instance we are just blown away by God’s provision: when we first moved into our apartment in Washington Heights we were a little surprised that we were going to be on a month to month lease. We even discussed asking to sign a 12 month lease after we made sure we liked the place. Well, we loved the place but we didn't end up changing our lease terms and now we are glad we didn't. Having a month to month lease allowed us the freedom to move out and give ourselves enough time to prepare for leaving. And when we had decided to move out, we found out that our old place would be vacated just in time for us. Not only that, but we don’t have to worry about storing or selling any of our stuff because we get to leave it in the apartment to provide a furnished unit for international students.

We want to thank God for making this transitional period smooth, and thank Him for our friends and family who have helped us so much over the last few weeks.

Thank you to our down to business friends who helped us move in record time!

Other updates: Jared finished working last week and I am on my final week. We are wrapping up our few last errands to prepare to leave, but overall are feeling good about the upcoming move.

Oceans

This song has been one of my favorites for a while now, but it is starting to take on a whole new meaning as we embark on this journey. It is a long one, but is worth a listen!
